We here at TAM Training are committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our customers – from website visitors to delegates on one of our courses. We want you to know that we will never pass your personal details onto other organisations for marketing purposes, we simply don’t do that. But just in case you don’t believe us, in this Privacy Policy, we’ve provided detailed information on when, how and why we collect your data as well as the conditions under which we may disclose it to others and how we keep your data secure.

Types of Data that we collect and how we use your data:

1. Google Analytics.

When someone visits we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.

2. If you use Wi-Fi at our Training Centres we may collect data about:
  1. i) your device;
  2. ii) the volume of data which you use;
3. the websites and applications which you access; and
  1. iv) your usage by access time, frequency and location.
  2. v) Mailing Lists.
4. Purchase Details.

When you purchase a Training Course with us on the phone or online; your name, address data, email and contact number as well as information on how you found us will be stored in our Customer Relationship Management system. You may, of course, purchase a Training Course (or courses) in person without supplying the aforementioned personal data. Please be assured that we do not share your personal details with any other company without your consent.

5. Other Organisations.

We may share anonymised personal information with other organisations, particularly CITB, who use this to generate Course Pass Certification. It is important to note, that we will not share any sensitive information or your payment details with any organisation.

6. Personal Use.

We may collect your data for your personal use during and after your course with us. This is for the following uses:

  1. To provide progress reports to sponsors and students.
  2. To provide references to educational institutes and potential employers.
  3. Access to your Personal Data.

7. Personal Information.

Information about your disability status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or religion may be included in your HSEA information and used to assist with monitoring equality of opportunity and to eliminate unlawful discrimination in accordance with the Equality Act.

The Data that we hold:

TAM Training holds information about students in order to manage student recruitment, admission, registration, study, examination and certification. Information is passed between various sections of the Training Company for operational reasons.

TAM Training collects, stores and processes personal data for the purpose of administrating and managing the training programme and all other services provided by TAM Training. TAM Training will continue to hold data, including details of academic achievements, when students leave. The information may be disclosed to the examination boards and other government and educational organisations, potential employers and other relevant organisations for the fulfilment of obligations.
